The Love Bible Reading Plan
The Love Bible Reading Plan is a 28-day plan focusing on exploring the theme of love as portrayed in the Bible. It’s a list of 28 verses on love.
Since February is often associated with love due to Valentine’s Day, this plan includes daily Scripture readings highlighting God’s love, our love for Him, and how we should love others.
You can do the Love Bible Reading Plan any time of the year but because we’re all thinking of love during February, it’s the best month for this study.

Day 2: Colossians 3:14
“But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”
Day 3: 1 Corinthians 2:9
“But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’”
Day 4: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
Day 5: 1 Corinthians 13:13
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
Day 6: Ephesians 2:4-6
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
Day 7: Ephesians 4:31-32
“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Day 8: Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Day 9: Isaiah 49:15-16
“Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.”
Day 10: John 15:12-13
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
Day 11: 1 John 3:1
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.”
Day 12: 1 John 3:18
“My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”
Day 13: 1 John 4:9-10
“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
Day 14: 1 John 4:16
“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”
Day 15: Jeremiah 31:3
“The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.’”
Day 16: Matthew 22:37-39
“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

“Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.”

“And above all things have fervent love for one another, for ‘love will cover a multitude of sins.’”
Day 20: Proverbs 3:3-4
“Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.”
Day 21: Psalm 143:8
“Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.”
Day 22: Romans 5:8
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Day 23: Romans 12:9-12
“Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.”
Day 24: 1 Thessalonians 3:12 (Correction: Chapter not specified, assuming 3:12.)
“And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.”

“For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain.”
Day 26: Titus 3:4-7
“But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
Day 27: Ephesians 4:2
“With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love.”
Day 28: Zephaniah 3:17 (Correction: Zephaniah 33:3 does not exist.)
