6 War Room Bible Verses for Fervent Prayer

Fervent prayer is something that we rarely see these days and maybe that is why we are losing ground in so many areas.

6 War Room Bible Verses for Fervent Prayer

We are living complacent lives and have forgotten that we should be in an all-out war against our enemy.

Our enemy is unseen so we forget he is real.

He is cunning and makes himself out to be fun and interesting so that we don’t draw our battle weapons.

It is high time that prayer became an integral part of our day.

And because of that, I am intentionally going to be taking on this challenge myself. I am asking that you join me as we learn how to really get down on our knees and fervently pray.

When I was a little girl, I remember going into a room where missionaries were gathered for an all-day prayer. Some of those missionaries were young and others were getting older.  The older ones had been missionaries in China before the communist curtain closed the country to the Gospel of Christ. Missionaries had to leave the country to serve the Lord in other places.

But they prayed fervently as their voices tremored with emotion.

It’s been years since I heard anyone praying like that.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

I am challenging you (and myself) to pray each day for ten minutes.

Distraction-free!

Without using an app or device.

Without having Facebook open.

Just pray.

The Prayer Printable Pack will help you bring your prayer life to the next level!

If you are like me, you pray all too often while you are doing something else.

Don’t stop praying while you are folding laundry or driving your car.

We have an enemy to conquer through prayer!

What I am asking is a hard thing in our hurried lives. We are constantly connected socially through our phones or computers no matter where we are or what we are doing.

I am asking that you disconnect from your devices for 10 minutes and power in with a solid connection with your Lord and Savior.

6 War Room Verses for Fervent Prayer

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 John 5:14

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:15

Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore! 1 Chronicles 16:11

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; Romans 12:12

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16

Your War Room for Fervent Prayer

You might live in a little house as I lived in when we were first married, or every space is filled with children and people.

You don’t need to have a ‘special place to pray.

Your spot to pray could be in a favorite chair.

It could be the first thing when you wake up when you are still hiding from your kids under the covers. If you move a muscle they will know you’re awake.

I am challenging you to set aside 10 minutes each day to do nothing other than pray

The earlier in your day the better before you get distracted.
